"Paranoia" is an adventure role-playing game set in a darkly humorous future. A well-meaning but deranged computer desperately protects the citizens of an underground warren (Alpha Complex) from all sorts of real and imagined traitors and enemies. Players take on the role of one of the computer's "Troubleshooters." Your assignment is to search out and destroy the enemies of the Computer. Your worst fear is that the computer will discover that you are one of these enemies.

This hysterical and fun-to-play RPG will unnerve even the most sober gamer. It's every Troubleshooter for him/herself in this underground world of anxiety and instant termination. The Alpha Complex is reminiscent of the film "Logan's Run."

Here is the TEXT POPUP for Paranoia:

The Computer wants you to be happy. If you are not happy, you may be used for reactor shielding.

The Computer is crazy. The Computer is happy. The Computer will help you become happy. This will drive you crazy.
Being a citizen in Alpha Complex is fun. The Computer says so and the Computer is your friend.
